Arsenal wasted no time in bolstering their squad for another title push, spending a whopping £210million on three players.

A £105m deal to sign Declan Rice was brokered and Jurrien Timber made the switch from Ajax, while Kai Havertz joined from Chelsea.

Liverpool also spent big with problems needing to be addressed by Jurgen Klopp after a poor campaign.

Midfielders Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szobozlai joined the Reds for a combined £95million.

Man City signed Josko Gvardiol, Jeremy Doku and Matheus Nunes in big-money deals throughout the summer as they added new faces to their treble-winning squad.

Elsewhere, Manchester United splashed out nearly £200million on Mason Mount, Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund, while Newcastle secured the signings of Harvey Barnes and Sandro Tonali

But Chelsea were once again the big spenders in the market as Mauricio Pochettino built his team, with Moises Caicedo arriving in an all-time British record deal.
